As we have been working for the last 18 months on changing processes and management software to achieve the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards we now find ourselves in the minority in our industry as most cannot adhere to the rules and regulations required to get the approval from the governing body.
So what does it mean for you as a customer of CBF?
You may be aware of the standards and some wont so a brief outline will highlight the changes we have made to achieve what is required. ISO9001 is all about process management, we are now proud to say that if at any point due our working process we can find out where a job is and at what stage it’s at. The flip side to this is if there is a problem with a job the traceability to find out what happened and where it went wrong is in place, documented and acted upon so that it doesn’t happen again. We have developed our own CRM (customer relationship management) software to track and trace all our work; this has enabled us to be more efficient and more cost effective. This all helps to benefit you – the customer.
The 14001 ISO standards are obtained for our environmental considerations. We recycle our waste accordingly, we offer sustainable and recyclable paper stocks where appropriate and we have a supplier programme in development to help them become more environmentally aware.
We feel that by having these standards will give you the confidence to trust in our ability to produce al your print work and delver when we say we will.
